Lisa is a radiant being and a beautiful soul who strives to incorporate the perfect balance between strength and surrender in each of her classes. The mother of two and founder of Mello Yoga believes that yoga can be for everybody and every body. Her Masters in Education and background as a teacher give her a natural grace and intuitive approach to guiding your practice. Lisa is dedicated to providing an enriching experience that leaves you recharged and re-energized.

Meesha

Meesha discovered yoga in 2003 and it blossomed alongside her interest in Eastern philosophy. With a Master's in English and a background in academia, she shifted to become a professional yogini. A 200-hour certified instructor with additional certifications in hot and yin yoga, she's facilitated about 30 teacher trainings and has over 5000 hours of teaching experience at renowned destinations. Meesha blends restorative, yin, hatha, and vinyasa styles with a focus on alignment, creative sequencing, and poetic imagery to connect students to their bodies, minds, and hearts. She also hosts retreats through Mello Yoga, combining her passions for travel and yoga.

What airport do I fly into?

You will need to book an international roundtrip flight to Puerto Vallarta (PVR). Airfare is not included in retreat pricing.

Do I need to get trip insurance?

Trip insurance is strongly suggested. It’s affordable and will ultimately protect your investment in case of any unforeseen events. This insurance is suggested to be purchased within a week after booking your retreat.

What are the accommodations like?

Each cabana is private and secluded and has its own private bathroom with a shower, a flush toilet, hot and cold water and organic soap. The private cabanas are open-air with no windows or screens. Hammocks are provided inside most cabanas depending on the space available. Sleep in a super comfy bed with hand-woven sheets and enjoy the organic cotton towels after a refreshing shower. Beach and pool towels will be provided.

All prices are listed per person. The initial deposit will be subtracted from the total amount.

Do I need a visa for travel to Mexico?

No, you do not. During your flight to Puerto Vallarta you will be given a document to fill out which you will then need to present to the immigration official upon your entry into Mexico. BE SURE YOU KEEP THIS PIECE OF PAPER FOR YOUR DEPARTURE. You will be asked for this upon check-in for your return flight home. If you do not have this piece of paper there will be a fine and the hassle of redoing all of this paperwork on the spot!

What is the weather like in Sayulita?

The Central Pacific Coast of Mexico is surrounded by jungle and receives 345 days of sunshine per year. The months of March, April, May, October and November are warm (upper 70s to low 80s).

Are meals included in my program cost?

Yes, 3 delicious and healthy gourmet meals a day are provided and made from only the freshest natural and local ingredients. The menu is chosen daily by the chef based on the ingredients that are available. The always-changing daily menu includes seafood or vegetarian dishes. Special dietary restrictions or requirements can be accommodated. Please be sure to note these in your registration form. Coffee and freshly squeezed juice are offered in the mornings. Tea, purified water and fresh fruit water are available all day. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at lunch and dinner.

Are gratuities included?

Tips for the kitchen, dining & housekeeping staff are not included in your trip price. Gratuities for shuttle and retreat staff (suggested tip for retreat staff, $25 USD per day, $175 for the week. This will be shared amongst all the service staff. You may leave this with the hotel manager at the end of your stay. Gratuities for the Spa Staff need to be paid directly to them at the time of service. All gratuities should be paid in cash.

Is Wifi available? Is there electricity?

There is no electricity in the cabanas. They are illuminated at night with oil lamps and candles. You will be unable to use any small electrical appliances like hairdryers, curling irons or electric razors. There is no outdoor lighting so you will need to bring a flashlight or a headlamp for use at night. There are electrical outlets in the dining room, pool terrace and yoga shalas for recharging electronic devices and batteries. It is the same voltage as the U.S. so no converter is needed.

There are a few spots that you can find service. Although we recommend you to take advantage of your visit to Haramara to disconnect from digital life. There is no WiFi at Haramara Retreat. However, if you would like to use your phone during your stay, you can purchase international data or you can go to one of the internet cafes in the town of Sayulita, which is a five-minute taxi ride away.
